Structure of VMware ESX and ESXi servers

Instead of working directly on the hardware level, the operating system is activated on a virtual server, to which hardware resources are allocated. Such a solution does not require any additional drivers. ESX server offers the basic layer of virtual servers’ interfaces
Virtual servers may use the interfaces for machine server components as well as for peripheral utilities.

High Availability (HA)

Thanks to VMware High Availability you may additionally increase the availability of your server environment due to the possibility of configuring servers by means of VMware HA. In the event of failure, the virtual servers will be transferred to the other host ESX.

VMware Consolidated tool allows to perform backup on-the-fly and maintain the virtual servers in operation, without any loss to efficiency.

VMware VMotion application enables the transfer of virtual servers to another ESX host, not switching off the server or disturbing its activity. As a result, it is now possible to extend the equipment servers and perform administrative jobs on them in a way that is unseen for the applications and functions made available.

MIGRATION OF NOVELL NETWARE SERVERS TO VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS 

We perform the migrations and virtualizations of old severs – including those with Novell Netware system.

We have the relevant tools and experience in the virtualization of Netware servers, transferring them to other physical or virtual machines, performing the back-up of those servers (in fact, frequently the tape drives used in old servers and backup discs cannot be used any more)

We have experience in the administration of Netware servers and repairs of Novell environment. As a result, it is possible to get rid of the old machines on which Netware was installed (and install the netware on other machines together with other machines with physical and virtual systems) and extend their lives.
